A: Login using your existing username/password and click on the preferences menu button.
 
Q: Can my username be the same as my email address?

A: No. In the interest of protecting your privacy, your Cybermatch.tv username must be a unique word that does not correspond to your identity outside the Cybermatch.tv community.
 
Q: How do I Create a Profile?

A: As soon as you log in to Cybermatch.tv, your screen will feature your home page where you can create a unique profile following the easy steps. Create your profile
 
Q: Can I update and make adjustments to My Profile?

A: Of course you can! Your profile should be updated when necessary to properly reflect you! To make changes to your profile, just click here and follow the simple steps.

A: Cybermatch.tv welcomes all single adults seeking relationships ranging from friendship, to romance, to marriage.

Our Integrity Assurance team reviews each and every profile to ensure our guidelines are met and we can maintain a comfortable net environment for all our members. We reserve the right to revise our guidelines if the need arises, so please check back for updates.

We may decline profiles if the username, headline, or narrative text contain any of the following:


• Any direct personal contact information (i.e., full names, email addresses, URLs, ICQ/instant messenger IDs, phone numbers, addresses etc.)
• Any information that threatens a member’s anonymity
• Abusive or inappropriate language of any kind (i.e., vulgarity, racism)
• Mention of illegal behavior (i.e., drug use, violence)
• Political or business advertisements or solicitations
• Material that exploits or solicits personal information about individuals under the age of 18
• Non English languages ( in order to effectively monitor profiles)
• Solicitation of multiple or additional partners
• Unauthorized use of copyrighted or trademarked material
• Vulgar sexual innuendo
Cybermatch.tv does not accept membership applications from:
• Incarcerated individuals
• Individuals under the age of 18

Q: Why do I need to post my photo on Cybermatch.tv?

A: Having a photo of yourself helps to add personality to your profile. Seeing a picture of a potential match is important to most of our members. However a photo is not required.
 
Q: Are there guidelines for posting a photo?

A: Yes, there are a few guidelines. Cybermatch.tv will not post photographs that feature nudity, obscenity, sexual, illegal or offensive material. Copyrighted images (celebrities, cartoon characters etc.) will not be posted.
Photos posted to the site will need to be approved by Nightchat’s Customer Care Dept. We reserve the right to crop or reject any photo at our discretion.
Suggestions: Submit only a recent, clear photograph of yourself. Refrain from submitting group shots.
 
Q: How do I post my photo?

A: Cybermatch.tv offers three ways to post a photo easily to the site. Please keep in mind that, due to volume, it may take from 24 to 72 hours for your photographs to be approved and appear on your profile.

Option 1: Upload a Photo

To upload a photo from your computer, go to My Photos, select "Upload Photo" and follow the directions.

Once approved, uploaded photos will be posted exactly as they are submitted. Be sure to crop your photo first, if necessary, before uploading it

Option 2: Email a Photo

To help speed up the process when you email your photo, please include the following information:

First and last name
Cybermatch.tv username
Cybermatch.tv registered email address
Birthdate (mm/dd/yyyy)
Photo file as attachment

Only one photo per email please. If sending more than one photograph, specify which one you want to be your primary. Send photos to photos@Cybermatch.tv.

Please send photos as attachments only. We cannot accept a picture embedded in an email.

Option 3: Mail a Photo

We will scan, crop and post your photos for free! Be sure to select photos no larger than 5" x 7" and no smaller than 2" x 2".
Please write the following on the back of your photo:
First and last name
Cybermatch.tv username
Cybermatch.tv registered email address
Birthdate (mm/dd/yyyy)
Specify which photo you want to be your primary (if sending more than one)

Q: How do I add more photographs to my primary one?

A: Easily done. Go to My Photos section, and simply click "Add a Photo" to begin the process.

Q: Why do I receive an error message when I try to pay with online check for a monthly package?

A: Cybermatch.tv does not accept online check payment for monthly subscriptions.

Q: What do I do if I have trouble registering?

A: If you're having difficulty, just go to New Membership Registration for more information or contact us.
 
Q: Why isn’t my billing information being accepted/saved when I enter it?

A: If you're having trouble with your billing information not being accepted or saved, it could be for a few reasons:
• Incorrect/Invalid credit card number
• Expired credit card
• Credit Card over limit
• Incorrect/Invalid online cheque information
Try re-entering your information or using a different form of payment. If you still experience problems, please contact us.
 
Q: Why was my subscription automatically renewed without my initiating it?

A: If you pay by credit card upon expiry of your initial term we automatically renew your subscription each unless you choose a different subscription package or resign your Cybermatch.tv subscription.
 

Q: I’m having trouble getting my billing information accepted when I enter it?

A: Check the following possibilities:

• Expired credit card
• Credit Card over limit
• Incorrect/Invalid online check information
• Incorrect/Invalid credit card number

Q: Why am I not getting very many responses?

A: Be sure to post a photo and fully complete your profile. Research indicates that profiles with photos are far more likely to receive responses. When chatting with or messaging other members, be sure to share things about yourself and ask questions about them. This gives other members more reasons to write back.

Also, make sure you're using your registered e-mail address with us. If you're not getting any responses at all, you may have a "Spamguard" that is keeping email from Cybermatch.tv from reaching you. Check with your service provider.

Q: How do I Block/Remove users?

A: To prevent a member's profile from reappearing in your match results, or to stop a member from sending you email visit Member Block and Member Unblock.
 
Q: What is a Cybermatch.tv search update?

A: Cybermatch.tv search update delivers to you a list of new members who meet the criteria you specified in your last Full Search.
 
Q: How do I set my Cybermatch.tv search update criteria?

A: Complete the Full Search form. Be sure to mark the Cybermatch.tv search update checkbox at the bottom of the form and press Go.
 
Q: How do I turn off my Cybermatch.tv search update?

A: Go to Email Options and un-check the Cybermatch.tv search update. Then press Submit.

You can also turn off your Cybermatch.tv search update from the Full Search form by un-checking the Save Cybermatch.tv search update Criteria box at the bottom of the form.

To turn it back on, just return to the Email Options page, check the Cybermatch.tv search update box and press Submit.
 
Q: Is the email I send to other members anonymous?

A: We are committed to protecting your privacy and will keep your actual email address confidential. Your real name and email will never be displayed at Cybermatch.tv, and all email communication from other members is directed to Username@Cybermatch.tv. Our double-blind e-mail system then forwards the messages to your registered email address.

To send anonymous email: From your own email, address your messages to: Username@Cybermatch.tv. Remember, you can only send anonymous email from your registered email address – this prevents others from impersonating you on our service. If you want to send email from an email address other than your registered email address, you will first need to change it in your Membership Info.

To reply to email from other Cybermatch.tv members: DO NOT HIT "reply"! If you do, you may be sending your actual email address! ASSIST US IN PROTECTING YOUR ANONYMITY! Turn off your auto-signatures and auto-responders. DO NOT copy (cc:) or forward email to yourself when you send a message from your own email program. When you reply to a Username@Cybermatch.tv email address, your real email address will be removed so the recipient will see only: YourUserName@Cybermatch.tv.


Please be aware that we do not save email sent through Cybermatch.tv. If you want to save emails that you have sent and received, save copies on your own computer as you would save any other email.
 
Q: Why is my email being returned to me?

A: If the email you're sending is being returned to you, it could be that:
• You are trying to send to a username that doesn't exist. Be sure to confirm the spelling.
• The person you are trying to email to is no longer a member of Cybermatch.tv.
• You are sending from an email address other than the address that you registered with us when you joined Cybermatch.tv.
 
Q: May I set up a web-based email account?

A: If you don’t already have email service, or would prefer to have a web based email account for your Cybermatch.tv correspondence, there are several Web-based services that provide email service free of charge. By registering a web-based email account with Cybermatch.tv, you can:
• Be able to keep your Cybermatch.tv email separate from your other personal and work correspondence.
• Access the account from any internet-connected computer.
• Keep contact with your other members even when you're out of town.
If you'd like your Cybermatch.tv email directed to any new email address, you must change your current registered email address in your Membership Info
 
Q: What is the Cybermatch.tv newsletter?

A: Cybermatch.tv periodically sends out our newsletter by email to Cybermatch.tv subscriber members. This newsletter contains articles on dating, relationships, sex, love – as well as updates, contests and special announcements.
 
Q: How do I unsubscribe to the Cybermatch.tv newsletter?

A:
Go to our email options page and uncheck Cybermatch.tv Newsletter option.
 
Q: How do I quit my membership with Cybermatch.tv?

A: Complete the resignation process.
 
Q: When will my billing be stopped?

A: At the time of your resignation your account and billing stops immediately. You will not be billed again, unless you contact us to re-instate your Cybermatch.tv subscription.
 
Q: If I have resigned, how do I re-join?

A: Simply contact us and we’ll help assist you in reinstating your subscription.
 
Q: If bought a 6-month subscription and have used only 3 months, will I be refunded the difference?

A: Cybermatch.tv does not pro-rate subscriptions.

If you wish to resign before your subscription is up, your subscription will still remain active till the completion of your initial term.
 
Q: Will I still be able to initiate email if I resign my subscription before the end of my term?

A: Yes. Your ability to initiate email will remain in effect until the conclusion of the term, regardless of when you resign.
 
Q: Upon resignation, will I still be able to receive and respond to email?

A: Yes. Receiving email is free. However, you must be a subscriber of Cybermatch.tv to initiate a contact with other Cybermatch.tv members.
 
Q: What happens to my profile if I resign?

A: If you resign your membership, your profile will immediately be shielded from view upon completion of your resignation. Should you decide to reactivate your profile within one month you will still be able to log in and "Unhide" your profile.

If you resign only your subscription, your profile and photos will remain active. It will be viewable on the site unless you decide to hide it. Your profile is a free service; therefore resigning your subscription doesn’t alter it, but if you don't want contact from other Cybermatch.tv members, then you should hide Your Profile.
 
Q: Can others still search for me by Username if I resign?

A: If you have resigned your membership, your profile and photos will immediately be inaccessible by other subscribers and will not appear in a search for your Username.

If you resign only your subscription, your profile will still come up in a search for your Username unless you have chosen to hide your it.
 
Q: Why does the Cybermatch.tv site seem to be slow?

A: If the site is operateing slowly, it may one of three things:
• Cybermatch.tv may be experiencing temporary technical difficulty.
• Your connection may not be operating at the highest efficiency. Double-check your modem settings or connection speed.
• The internet itself may have heavy traffic. Try again at another time when the internet may be less busy.
